We decided to make the animation in cyberpunk-futuristic style, so I searched for some inspiration how our set and design can look like.
The story can be set in a big futuristic city with skyscrapers. We can get inspiration from today's Tokyo. With its modern appearance and society, it's usually used as a model of cities from cyber age.
Tokyo was also used in japan science-fiction movie Neo-Tokyo, with retro-futuristic feeling.
I found many different artworks by various artists, connected to Tokyo and futuristic Tokyo.
One of my favourite music artists, Klayton, created a music project called Scandroid, which is also inspired by cyber age and Tokyo culture.
On Deviantart I found an artist called Huntang, who creates digital paintings exactly in that cyberpunk futuristic style, we would like to use in our animation as an inspiration of the set and costume design.
I also found few other pictures on Tumblr, which can be a good inspiration for our design.
